The International Information Systems Forensics Association (IISFA) announced today the approval of Technet Training Centers as a "Certified Training Partner" of Certified Information Forensic Investigator (CIFI) training. TechNet Training Centers, serving the southeast United States, will be providing the CIFI training in early June, 2005.
Registration for courses will open late April. Kim Tanaka, International Director of Education, said of the partnership: "I'm pleased to add Technet Training Centers to our alliance program, providing our members with professional and timely instruction for the CIFI. This move fills a much needed training requirement for our members, especially those in the Southeast US. We look forward to adding partners in others parts of the world in the future." J. Whitted, CEO of TechNet Training Centers, said "TechNet is honored to be able to offer training and certification in the area of forensic investigation. Currently, TechNet Training Centers provides certification and training in the areas of Wireless, Security, and Networking. This is an excellent opportunity to provide training in an area that is in it's infancy. This certification represents an excellent opportunity to strengthen career paths for security and IT professionals in an industry that has been hit very hard by our economy."
